Teaches in Marital and Relationship Therapy 


Ms Robyn Gordon is a counselling psychologist with over twenty years of experience in the profession.  She has worked with families, individuals, adolescents and children and uses psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural theories in her work. She has also worked in varied settings as a clinician in juvenile justice, child protection, school counselling, medical surgeries and private practice. Ms Gordon is interested to work with clients in a respectful way to assist them to develop a greater insight to and awareness of their lives and issues. She works with individuals and students in a supervisory role and has been involved in the implementation and running of psychotherapeutic group programs. She is a Member of The Australian Psychological Society, a Member of the College of Counselling Psychologists and a Registered Psychologist.  Ms Gordon is a committee member of the Psychoanalytically Oriented Psychologists Interest Group of the Australian Psychological Society.

Research Interests

Ms Gordon’s research interests include psychoanalytic psychotherapy, attachment theory; child and adolescent mental health; depression; relationships; body Image.
